About allwhere

allwhere is a D.E. Shaw-backed tech startup reimagining how companies manage IT assets for distributed teams. Whether remote, hybrid, or in-office, we make it seamless to procure, ship, and track the equipment teams need to stay productive. We’re growing fast—and looking for sharp operators who thrive in dynamic environments and want to help scale high-impact systems from the ground up.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced operations lead to run our Vendor Management lane. This is a true player-coach role: you’ll lead a team of specialists, stay directly involved in critical vendor relationships and negotiations, and build the partner network that powers how allwhere sources equipment around the world. You’ll work closely with Order Management, Logistics & Asset Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Product to improve cost, coverage, reliability, and speed as the business scales. This role is ideal for a hands-on operator who understands the IT channel, enjoys developing people and partnerships, and can turn vendor strategy into measurable results.

What You’ll Do

👥 Team Leadership & Daily Execution

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Vendor Management Specialists while remaining directly involved in daily execution
  • Set priorities, assign work, and manage coverage across OEM, distribution, reseller / VAR, and vendor-program responsibilities
  • Establish clear standards, SLAs, and accountability for vendor onboarding, quoting support, program execution, and issue resolution

🌐 Vendor Ecosystem & Sourcing Strategy

  • Own allwhere’s global vendor ecosystem across OEMs, distributors, and resellers / VARs, building the partner strategy behind how we source equipment worldwide
  • Shape sourcing strategy by region, developing the right partner mix to support competitive pricing, reliable fulfillment, and fast expansion into new markets
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships across the channel, representing allwhere with key partners and identifying new capabilities as we scale

🤝 Programs, Negotiation & Performance

  • Lead negotiations across pricing, payment terms, credit, rebates, incentives, and program structures to improve cost and commercial outcomes
  • Apply deep knowledge of channel programs, including Deal Registration, Apple VPP / DPP, warranties, reseller authorization, rebates, and incentives, to maximize value and customer experience
  • Manage vendor KPIs and SLAs, using performance data to identify gaps, hold partners accountable, and drive continuous improvement

🚨 Escalations, Process & Partnership

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for supply constraints, pricing discrepancies, fulfillment issues, and vendor-program challenges, driving clear ownership and timely resolution
  • Build and maintain scalable playbooks for vendor onboarding, qualification, deal registration, program enrollment, and regional compliance while partnering cross-functionally to improve how supply strategy supports customer demand

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in vendor / partner management, IT procurement, channel management, supply chain, or a related function
  • A track record of supervising or formally leading a team, including coaching team members, assigning work, and managing performance
  • Direct experience working with OEM and distribution channels such as Apple, Dell, Lenovo, TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, or equivalent partners
  • Strong working knowledge of channel programs, including Deal Registration, Apple VPP / DPP, reseller authorization, warranties, rebates, and incentive structures
  • Proven experience negotiating pricing, terms, and program structures and delivering measurable cost or performance improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to build and standardize processes in a fast-changing, high-growth environment
  • A data-driven approach, sharp problem-solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication across internal teams and external partners
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Why Join allwhere

  • Lead a critical supply chain lane at a high-growth, early-stage company backed by top-tier investors
  • Combine hands-on execution with meaningful people leadership, commercial ownership, and partner strategy
  • Build relationships across leading global OEMs, distributors, and technology partners
  • Help create the vendor network and operating standards that will support allwhere as we scale globally
